When you live in a place as beautiful as Cook County, Minnesota there’s always a reason to celebrate.
September is a favorite time of year for visitors and locals alike. The understory of the forest is beginning to change from green to yellow and the leaves in the trees are beginning their transition. Soon the maples will be brilliant red and the Sawtooth Mountains will be ablaze with color. Lake Superior is a beautiful backdrop and it’s the perfect time to immerse oneself in the woods of the Superior National Forest.
There are activities galore to choose from whether it’s outdoor adventures, arts, music or something else.
