When the weather is too cold to venture outside or you’ve had your fill of frosty temperatures we will have plenty of reasons for you to visit us at Voyageur Brewing Company.
We have a full line up of fun in store for the winter. In November and December we’ll be featuring a local artisan every Wednesday from 4:30-6:30pm. It’s an opportunity to meet the artist, purchase a gift, support your community and enjoy a pint of beer all at the same time. You’ll want to stick around for fun and games afterwards with Casey.
On Sundays in November and December we’ll be showing some of your favorite holiday films in the brewery. Check Facebook to find out when each of your favorite movies are playing including Elf and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Snowflakes are falling and the waves are kicking up on Lake Superior just in time for next weekend’s Lake Superior Storm Festival in Cook County. No one knows cold storms better than our local arctic explorer Lonnie Dupre. He has pioneered expeditions in the coldest regions of the world including the North Pole and on Friday, November 10th at 7pm he’ll share some stories with you at Voyageur Brewing Company.
On Saturday at 7:30pm we’re showing the climbing film Jeff’s World. Brought to you by Spirit Guiding Adventures, Sawtooth Outfitters, Adventure North MN, Fireweed Bike Coop, and the
North Shore Adventure Park this film is a “Story of discovery, vision and grit, “Jeff’s World” as it takes a humorous behind-the-scenes look into the world of rock climbing and the tenacity required to build a sport climbing destination accessible only by boat and hidden in a pristine wilderness of shimmering lakes, dense forest, and blood-sucking insects.”
Save the Date for our upcoming events including our Thanksgiving Weekend festivities and our Holiday Extravaganza Weekend December 15th-17th. You’ll need your ugliest Christmas sweater, a white elephant gift and your elf off the shelf in order to make the most of the weekend.
