Holidays at Voyageur Brewing Company
We’re the hub for holiday celebrations in Grand Marais, Minnesota. Find all the cheer necessary for any party large or small in our taproom. Our artists in the taproom events are the place to find unique and locally made creations for gifts. Folks have enjoyed the live holiday music by Roxanne Berglund as they sip their beer and shop in our inviting atmosphere.
If you’re into making your own gifts we’re featuring a couple of events in our brewery space including a Paint your Pet event and a make your own gingerbread house event with local Crosby Bakery. Fun times can be found at Voyageur.
What’s new for beer? We’ve released an American Lager.
It is a pale lager modestly hopped with southern hemisphere New Zealand Motueka hops.
Corn has been used along with the malted barley in the American Lager tradition but
the addition of Motueka hops gives this beer a unique twist– sort of a Kiwi/Yank beer- a
little New Zealand summer in a Voyageur winter lager.
What’s with the name?
Pfarr is the maiden name of one of Voyageur Brewing Company’s owners. We celebrate Sue’s upcoming entrance into a half of a century existense by acknowledging the fact she thinks she is far wiser than the rest of us. We choose to honor her with a somewhat corny
name for a beer brewed with corn!
Here’s wishing everyone the happiest of holidays from Voyageur Brewing Company!
