The days are getting shorter and the temperatures a little cooler in Grand Marais. We had the first fire in the fireplace at Voyageur Brewing Company’s taproom on Friday. I’m not sure it was needed but it sure does make the taproom feel cozy.
Oktoberfest is coming soon, do you have your lederhosen and dirndl pressed and ready to wear? We have Polkarioty joining us again this year and the Singing Slovenes from Duluth for double the music. We’ll have the big tent set up in the parking lot and invite you to spend time in there each day of Oktoberfest.
The Plein Air artists will be showing their works in the brewery on Wednesday, September 11th so be sure to stop in to see their work.
On Friday, September 20th there will be jazz and more for Celebrate the Night Sky Week.
Certified Personal Trainer Carmen Anderson is offering brewery boot camps this fall. It’s a fun workout with kegs incorporated into the exercises. A $10 fee gets you a fabulous 45 minute workout and a pint of beer afterwards.
Yoga on the rooftop patio continues as well with Mindy on Saturdays. We’ll move inside if the weather demands it so sign up and show up, you’ll be happy you did.
I don’t know about you but I love a good laugh. We hope you’ll join us for one or both of our comedy nights in the brewery. The North American Comedy Brewery Tour is coming to Voyageur on Thursday, October 24th and Wednesday, November 27th.

We want to see you watching the Vikings games at Voyageur. During the first half of the game we’ll have Football Bingo, at half-time we’ll have a half-price special and after the game there will be Football Trivia. You can win prizes and earn Voyageur/Viking dollars so be sure to join us.

Oktoberfest beer is on tap and people are loving it, ask for a taste the next time you are in the taproom. We also have Trailbreaker Belgian Wheat, Devil’s Kettle IPA, Boundary Waters Brunette, Sled Hound Session, Brule River Blonde and the Fest Beer on nitro.
