DESCRIPTION:Join us for a late afternoon of live music at Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais\, MN.\nWhy Worry? is the musical duo of Bob and Glenda Niemiec. Both Glenda and Bob have been playing music since childhood. Bob started out taking music lessons and playing the accordion when he was 10. At 13\, Bob traded his accordion for a bass guitar and began his journey into rock and roll. He then moved on to acoustic guitar\, which he’s been playing ever since. Bob plays guitar (acoustic\, 12-string\, and electric)\, bass\, banjo\, mandolin\, accordion\, keyboards\, harmonica and percussion. \nGlenda started her musical journey at 9\, taking lessons and playing the piano. She moved on to flute and played in the marching and concert bands at Auburn (AL) H.S. She took a long hiatus from playing music until joining in with Bob to form Why Worry?. She plays flute\, piccolo\, tin whistles\, melodica\, keyboards and percussion. Both Glenda and Bob share the vocal duties in the group. \nWhy Worry? performs several shows each year sharing their renditions of popular music\, classic country\, light rock\, folk\, Americana and original compositions. They are known for their crisp harmonies and creative instrumentation and arrangements.

We had the pleasure of meeting Bill Hansen (dobro) 5 years ago and created the SAWBILL TRIO. “Gypsy Jazz Acoustic Improvisational Trio” \nClint and I have been canoeing in the Boundary Waters for the last 15 years. We create music at our campfire sites that is inspired by the incredible natural surroundings; the magical echoes and reverb from the waters are very inspiriting. We jammed with Bill and the Trio was conceived.   We make the music up on the spot. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy live music and craft beer at Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais\, Minnesota.\nDance Attic was formed in late 2014 by Suzi Ludwig (accordion\, vocals) and Jimi Cooper (guitar\, ukulele\, vocals). Their quirky and unique musical tastes eventually evolved past jamming on old favorites and they soon began writing songs of their own. Eventually they decided to play their first live set but neglected to come up with a name for the duo. \n         Luckily a friend came up with the name Dance Attic at their first show upon observing the music they perform has a dusty\, old vibe\, like the vintage records one might find in an attic. After taking swing dance lessons together\, Jimi cleared some space in the attic of Suzi’s barn to create a practice space for dancing. So the name Dance Attic was a perfect fit.           Their set list consists of many originals and old favorites ranging from old time country and polka to Italian and Norwegian instrumental pieces. Although their original music is hard to pin down to a particular genre\, it is packed with old-time charm and fun. Together their energy and positivity radiate through their live performances.
