We had the pleasure of meeting Bill Hansen (dobro) 5 years ago and created the SAWBILL TRIO. “Gypsy Jazz Acoustic Improvisational Trio” \nClint and I have been canoeing in the Boundary Waters for the last 15 years. We create music at our campfire sites that is inspired by the incredible natural surroundings; the magical echoes and reverb from the waters are very inspiriting. We jammed with Bill and the Trio was conceived.   We make the music up on the spot. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy live music and craft beer at Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais\, Minnesota.\nDance Attic was formed in late 2014 by Suzi Ludwig (accordion\, vocals) and Jimi Cooper (guitar\, ukulele\, vocals). Their quirky and unique musical tastes eventually evolved past jamming on old favorites and they soon began writing songs of their own. Eventually they decided to play their first live set but neglected to come up with a name for the duo. \n         Luckily a friend came up with the name Dance Attic at their first show upon observing the music they perform has a dusty\, old vibe\, like the vintage records one might find in an attic. After taking swing dance lessons together\, Jimi cleared some space in the attic of Suzi’s barn to create a practice space for dancing. So the name Dance Attic was a perfect fit.           Their set list consists of many originals and old favorites ranging from old time country and polka to Italian and Norwegian instrumental pieces. Although their original music is hard to pin down to a particular genre\, it is packed with old-time charm and fun. Together their energy and positivity radiate through their live performances.

A knowledgeable and friendly tour guide will explain the brewing process to you and show you the ingredients and equipment needed to make craft beer. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy craft beer and live music at Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais\, Minnesota.\n\nGene and Amy have been writing and performing together since 2012 and moved to the North Shore of Lake Superior in August of 2014 Their emphasis is on acoustic style duet performances of their original songs as well as unique renditions of some of their favorite artists from Dylan to dirt old country. \nGene LaFond has been writing and performing for over 50 years.\nHe has opened for Bob Dylan and has performed original songs twice\, with his pal the late Larry Kegan\, at Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit Concert (a songwriter showcase put on in San Francisco by Neil for nearly 30\,000 fans to raise money for the Bridge School for Disabled Children).\nGene has played numerous venues throughout the years in the Twin Cities as well as a dozen or more times with renowned violinist Scarlet Rivera. Gene has also performed and traveled with legendary folk musician Ramblin Jack Elliott. \nFormer cowgirl and junk artist Amy Grillo began singing around the campfires and in the bars and music venues of Minnesota’s Iron Range. Her ear for harmony and a good story are what give her songs a unique\, earthy and relatable feel. Her sweet harmonies and lyrical talent are a perfect compliment to Gene’s vocal and guitar picking style.
