A knowledgeable and friendly tour guide will explain the brewing process to you and show you the ingredients and equipment needed to make craft beer. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a late afternoon of live music at Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais\, MN.\nWhy Worry? is the musical duo of Bob and Glenda Niemiec. Both Glenda and Bob have been playing music since childhood. Bob started out taking music lessons and playing the accordion when he was 10. At 13\, Bob traded his accordion for a bass guitar and began his journey into rock and roll. He then moved on to acoustic guitar\, which he’s been playing ever since. Bob plays guitar (acoustic\, 12-string\, and electric)\, bass\, banjo\, mandolin\, accordion\, keyboards\, harmonica and percussion. \nGlenda started her musical journey at 9\, taking lessons and playing the piano. She moved on to flute and played in the marching and concert bands at Auburn (AL) H.S. She took a long hiatus from playing music until joining in with Bob to form Why Worry?. She plays flute\, piccolo\, tin whistles\, melodica\, keyboards and percussion. Both Glenda and Bob share the vocal duties in the group. \nWhy Worry? performs several shows each year sharing their renditions of popular music\, classic country\, light rock\, folk\, Americana and original compositions. They are known for their crisp harmonies and creative instrumentation and arrangements.

DESCRIPTION:We’d love to give you a tour of Voyageur Brewing Company and show you how we make our craft beer in Grand Marais\, Minnesota.\nWe offer tours on most Saturdays beginning at 11:30am but you need to reserve your space online in advance.  No payment is necessary at the time of booking the reservation but we we do ask you to bring a $5 donation that we can give to one of our Cook County non-profits. \nThe tour of the brewery begins and ends in the Taproom. A knowledgeable and friendly tour guide will explain the brewing process to you and show you the ingredients and equipment needed to make craft beer. After the tour guests 21 and over will be offered samples of our beer and can ask any questions they might still have. \nBrewery tours fill up quickly and there’s a 20 person maximum per group. \nTour Details: \n\nTour of facility($5 donation)\nTours take approximately 45 minutes\nComplimentary beer samples included for guests 21+\nEveryone is welcome in the tasting room and gift shop\nRecommended for ages 12+\nLimited to 20 guests per tour\nTours must be booked in advance\nPlease wear closed toe shoes\n\nDon’t forget to register all members of your party\, including your kids.  \nPlease cancel your reservation if you are unable to attend so some other lucky fan will get to enjoy the tour.

Come join us! \nMore about the event: \nThis fun filled weekend started in 2010 when the rise in craft beer was gaining momentum. The event is Grand View’s craft beer and culinary weekend to pay homage all of our state’s finest breweries.\nThe weekend kicks off Friday evening with our on-site Pub crawl. Hop on our shuttle and tour three of our bars; Northwoods Pub\, Freddy’s Grill and Cru. Each location will be have a different theme\, live music\, correlating beer and a full bar. Travel through different cultures with music and beer before the Saturday activities kick off.\nSaturday’s activities include everything from a one-mile beer run/walk to start the day to meeting the brewery masterminds. In the afternoon we have demos and classes to engage in. You can attend the classes of your choice\, ask the brew masters questions and learn everything you need to know about craft beer. And of course\, the night cap\, the Grand Tasting. This tasting encompasses all shades of MN brews available for sampling plus includes different flavors to sample by Grand View’s culinary team. It is the perfect weekend to warm up before the winter!
