It’s May and we have a full month of activities planned at Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais.
It’s National Bike Month and we have a scheduled group bike ride every Wednesday in May with Fireweed Bike Coop and the SCA. Find route descriptions online and after the ride visit Voyageur Brewing for a free 9-ounce pour and a half-priced appetizer.
We’re celebrating American Craft Beer Week May 13-20th. We’re kicking off the week with Beer 101 where you’ll learn about beer with one of our brewers. Your $10 fee insures your participation in the class, gets you beer samples and a free pint glass to bring home. Please register in advance.
Also on Monday you can learn how to play Black Jack for free with Grand Portage Casino. They’ll be set up in the brewery space from 4-7pm ready to teach you and give away prizes to participants.
We have a Beer and Cheese Pairing on Tuesday, Beer and Wings Pairing on Thursday and Beer and Cigar Pairing on Wednesday for you to enjoy.
Learn to play Blackjack
The Beer and Cigar Pairing will include a presentation about cigars, four 9-ounce pours of beer, appetizers and four cigars. This class is limited to just 20 participants and pre-registration is required to guarantee your place. The $100 investment can be paid just prior to class with a credit card, check or cash.
