There is always something to do in Grand Marais, Minnesota and we’re so excited to be a part of all of the future happenings. People visit for a number of reasons including attending a class at the North House Folk School, staying at a resort, visiting relatives, going on a BWCA canoe trip, shopping, hiking and an endless number of other reasons. There’s something for everyone in Grand Marais and with the Voyageur Brewing Company opening there will be even more reason to visit.
The Fishermen’s Picnic takes place in Grand Marais and it’s a great event. This year I sat at the site of the Brewery to watch the fireworks and I’m happy to say it was great viewing. I can imagine the Voyageur Brewing Companybeing filled next year for the 4th of July Fireworks and the Fishermen’s Picnic Fireworks.
It’s exciting to think about all of the things we can be a part of as a brewing company in Grand Marais, Minnesota. We’re looking forward to making tasty craft beer people can enjoy when they’re on vacation and when they are back home reliving the memories of their time in Grand Marais and beyond.

BWCA stands for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area where people paddle and portage into wilderness lakes and camp overnight. Grand Marais is the gateway to the Gunflint Trail which leads to different entry points into the BWCA. Thanks for reading and asking!
