There is so much to celebrate at Voyageur Brewing Company in Grand Marais, MN.
It’s American Craft Beer Week and we’ve been enjoying the heck out of it. Last night we tapped our newest creation, “Thirsty Camper,” it’s a Vienna Style Lager(ale brewed with a lager yeast) and it’s outstanding. Make sure you fill a few growlers full for your weekend camping trips so you won’t become a thirsty camper.
As part of American Craft Beer Week we encourage you to #BeeritForward it’s “Pay it Forward” by sharing a beer or beer knowledge with others. According to ACBA, “Many craft brewers exemplify this ideal every single day. They believe in the value of community and giving back, supporting causes from veterans to homelessness to a cleaner environment. Tonight we’re hosting a Bean Bag Tournament and there are still spots available. You can win a $50 gift card to Voyageur Brewing Company, enjoy complimentary pizza and a free pint of beer for the $10 entrance fee! 
On Sunday we’ll be playing board games in the brewery from 2-4pm. Feeling competitive? We’ll be playing a round-robin competition of games like Sorry, Trouble, Uno and more. There’s no cost to play but you could win a prize!
Music this weekend is Briand Morrison on Friday from 4-7pm and Timmy Haus on Saturday from 4-7pm. Make plans to listen to some awesome local musicians at Voyageur.
Coming up next Thursday is the release of our Pilsner that we know you are going to fall in love with. Le Grand Du Nord Bike Race comes to town and Voyageur on Friday and Saturday. Memorial Weekend is almost here and that means summer is just around the corner. We hope to see you at Voyageur soon.
