Mystery Mountain Hops Hazy IPA

It’s beginning to look and feel like spring in Grand Marais. The snow banks are melting and the sun is shining more brightly. Folks are enjoying sitting on the deck and sipping on a pint while breathing in the fresh lake air. You will want to make a special trip to Grand Marais to enjoy our outstanding new Hazy IPA.

Evan and the brewery crew outdid themselves on this Hazy IPA. When you take a sip and close your eyes you’ll think you are enjoying a tropical fruit drink on a beach. This soft bodied brew fills your mouth with tastes of mango, lychee and passionfruit. It’s my new personal favorite but at 7.3% ABV I’m going to have to savor slowly.
If you ski at Lutsen Mountains then you’re familiar with Mystery Mountain. It has 8 blue diamond runs and this beer was brewed with 8 malts. We also used a mystery hops to brew this beer, HBC-586, hence the name Mystery Mountain Hops.
