Excitement in the air at Voyageur Brewing Company

We’re so happy to see smiling faces at Voyageur once again.  With the loosening of restrictions we are thrilled to allow vaccinated guests and crew to choose whether or not to continue to wear a mask. We ask folks who are not vaccinated to continue to wear a mask while indoors and not seated at a table.  We look forward to adding more tables and serving  guests both inside and outside at Voyageur.

We will continue to reserve a table for you upon your arrival at Voyageur.  If a table is not immediately available we will add you to a wait list and text you when your table is ready. If your group would like to enjoy a beer while waiting we have an area set aside for just that. You’ll be able to place your order at the bar and take your beer outside to the beer garden where there will be tables to stand around.

We offer table service inside the taproom and outside on the lower level deck where we serve beer and all of our menu items. The rooftop deck is for drinking beer and enjoying chips and dip this summer. Once folks have been given their table number they can head upstairs and order a beer at the bar.

We have a great selection of beers on tap including our newest Double Dry Hopped Hazy IPA F.O.L.A.S.  Fog over lake at sunrise is a Double Dry Hopped Hazy IPA now on tap at Voyageur. Citra and Mosaic hops take the driver’s seat on this beer, creating deep pungent flavors of mango, papaya and sweet citrus. The malt character remains medium bodied leaning slightly towards sweet.

Double Dry Hopped means hops were added on two separate occasions in order to boost the flavor and aroma of F.O.L.A.S. Waiting to add hops until after the boil means there’s no added bitterness to the beer.
The types of grain, malt and adjuncts used for the Hazy IPA contribute to the beer’s cloudiness and it’s smooth, soft taste. The haze or clouds on a smooth lake at sunrise are almost as refreshing and enjoyable as this great tasting beer.

You may have heard about road construction happening in Grand Marais this summer. In order to alleviate parking issues we have leased the vacant lot across the street from Voyageur. This parking is reserved for guests of Voyageur Brewing Company and will provide convenient and ample space for everyone who wants to visit us.
